Luc Langille

Doctoral Student in School/Applied Child Psychology

Luc is currently completing a master's degree in School/Applied Child Psychology. He completed a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.), specializing in psychology at McGill University. After graduation, Luc worked under Dr. James Gross at Stanford University, and Dr. Scott Sponheim at the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where his research focused on emotion regulation and schizophrenia. Under the supervision of Dr. Jacob Burack, Luc’s research focuses on attentional processing in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Taking a strengths-based approach, his goal is to better understand social attention in adolescents with ASD. He hopes to one day become a child psychologist to help young people flourish to their fullest potential. In his free time Luc plays in jazz bands around the Montreal area.
