Anna-Francesca Boatswain-Jacques

Doctoral Student in School/Applied Child Psychology

Anna-Francesca is a doctoral student in the School/Applied Child Psychology program at McGill University. Her research interests are guided by her years of experience working with families and children in the health and social service fields. She seeks to uncover key elements related to positive development, with a particular interest in social and cognitive functioning. Her Ph.D. work examines how individuals with autism spectrum use attention to understand the world in similar and unique ways. In pursuing her doctoral studies, Anna-Francesca aspires to advance our knowledge of human development and help foster favourable child-rearing practices.
